This course is centered around Lectio Divina, an ancient gazing practice. The words Lectio Divina mean "Sacred Reading," and has been used as a way to encounter both inner and outer divinity. This practice is not about making something "perfect," but rather creating from the well within and seeing what emerges, which is often very beautiful, and which may lead to creating a body of work of 30 faces in 30 days.
I have relied on Lectio Divina for over 20 years now to assist me in REALLY seeing, and seeing beyond into the extra-ordinary realms. This practice is a technology that generatively unfolds a way of encountering the world in a low and slow way. It's mystic. It's a practice!
This workbook includes an invitation to practice Lectio Divina (Sacred Reading), 30 reference pictures and an invitation to experiment with a particular technique each day.
Each invitation is set up to take about 20 - 30 minutes each day.
